MAX achieved grade 1 RID status in 2009 at just 3 years old. He has a powerful, straight, free moving action and a superb athletic jump. He has a fabulous attitude to work proving to be intelligent and very sensible along with his genuine kind temperament.
He has excellent performance bloodlines on both sides of his pedigree, including the well known grade A showjumpers 'SEA CREST', 'GLENSIDE', and GLENAGYLE REBEL' And 'HUNTINGFIELD REBEL'.
Max's grand sire 'Sea Crest' is the sire of 'Cruising' who is ranked 6th in 2012 in the World breeding federation for sports horses as the sire of 'FLEXIBLE' 'FRESH DIRECT CALICO BAY' & 'MOI CHROI' in the showjumping category.
In the eventing category 'Cruising' is the sire of No 1 ranked ISH ' Mr Medicott' and No76 'Mr Cruise Control'.
Max's dam 'ROSSBRACKEN LADY' is a HORNBY PREMIUM' mare, which is a scheme to recognise 'exceptional' mares in Irish draught breeding.

MAX'S SIRE
'HUNTINGFIELD REBEL' carries brilliant outcross genes. On his sire's side through the exported 'GLENAGYLE REBEL' you have the unique 'PRINCE HENRY' line, also 'RUSHEEN HERO' and 'MERRION'.
His dam 'WHIPPY' who like his 'grade A' father was vigorously performance tested.She carries the brilliant 'BLUE PETER' and 'SKYLARK' lines. Whippy who at 16 years won supreme chamion at the ID National show. Her dam 'SOFTEE' is the grand dam of RID 'CROSSTOWN DANCER'.
GRANDSIRE: GLENAGYLE REBEL
He was approved in Ireland at 3 years by I.H.R as he was the only male representative of his line. His 1st foal was 'WHIPPYS' son 'HUNTINGFIELD REBEL'. He reached grade A in a very short time.
Glenagyle Rebel died in South Africa in 2008, Klaus Blazer exported him to Zimbabwe where he left a huge amount of RID's.
